about

Lilith is an early Semitic goddess who originally personified benign powers of the night and of the unconscious and dream worlds. She embodies the instinctual realm of desire, and erotic dreams and fantasies. (This note taken from the 'Temple of the Moon Goddess' sleeve-notes.)

This song originally appeared on Jackie Juno and Brian Abbott's Heretix album, 'Temple of the Moon Goddess' in 2007. Extensively re-worked by The Invisible Opera Company of Tibet it became part of their live set until 2011.
This arrangement was recorded by Ray Hendriksen and Luke Hedges at DBS Studios, Plymouth, UK and mixed by Clive Buckland-Bork and Brian Abbott at Silveraven Studios, Ashburton, using some frankly awesome bass and drums stems created by Ray, who also mastered the final track.

This song, along with four others recorded during the same session at DBS, plus re-mixes featuring guest lead vocals from Daevid Allen and Arthur Brown, is intended for CD release in 2014.

LILITH (lyrics: Jackie Juno)

Listen to me
I will give you what you need
Be my channel
Be my hollow reed
Swim with me
Let the water flow through
Lose yourself
I see through you

Let the night in, let the night in...
